Learn to Trim Your Own Horse Clinic/ Workshop was a fundraiser for and held at Rosemary Farm Sanctuary. The day was cold, but well attended.
This was a full day with class time, Q&A and a trim demo in the morning with a lunch break that featured some of the most amazing food ever to be had!- and a mounted shooting demo by Certified Richard Shrake Resistance FreeTrainer, Dan McCarthy who I also work with quite regularly. You can find Dan's contact information on my services page.

MARYLAND, NY 4-H GROUP
I was invited to present a whole horse evaluation and natural trim for the members. It was a very cold and windy, early spring morning, but despite the chill we had a good turnout. Some stood and watched intently and others huddled together wrapped in blankets sitting on hay bales, but everyone had some very good questions.
The mare I evaluated had a slant in her incisors, and I showed how that affects her balance and inability to turn her head to the left, and how that translated to an imbalance in her hind feet. We talked about diet, hoof boots, saddle fitting and touched on Paddock Paradise.
Thanks to the young girl who took the pictures with my camera. Good job!

You can find Wendy's contact information on my services page.
After lunch Geri provided 2 hours of class time that covered diet, environment, holistic care, saddling, hoof boots and how natural trimming is different from conventional care. Class was followed by a trim demo and saddle fitting demo.

EASY RIDERS RIDING CLUB MEETING
This was a great night at the Christmans Windham House where the club had their monthly meeting. It was nice to meet many people I have seen on the pages of the GHA's Advocate Publication. I presented my "whole horse" approach to the group following a very nice dinner. Thanks for having me!
I just wanted to say thank you for a well informed, wonderful presentation last night at Christman's for our horse club meeting. It was great to meet you, and I hope to be in touch very soon to have you evaluate my mare on teeth, boots and saddle fit. ..Once again, thanks for a very interesting and educational evening. I really got a lot out of it, and I hope to learn more from your website links! - Lisa G
I would like to have you come and take a look at my horse...You certainly made a huge impression on my daughter- she has always wanted to be a horse trainer when she grows up but now she has some different views! -DV
NATURAL BOARDING IN "PADDOCK PARADISE" CLINIC
MAY 22, 2011
This was a great Clinic with 20 participants. The first half of the day included: Why Paddock Paradise?- how and why it works and the concepts of slow feeders, and the application to a Paddock Paradise environment. Then we had a break for lunch, which when it is pot luck, is always an amazing culinary experience! Second half of the day included Manure Management- the most important part of your parasite control plan, and DIY fecal egg counts. We had 5 microscopes and everyone had a chance with some hands-on.
Geri, thanks so much for a fun, informative and inspirational clinic! TM
